Hotel is closed for a refurb from July 1 until October 1
 
Odd given it only opened 2.5 years ago. I could see it being reflagged as a Novotel perhaps

Possibly given the conversion of daiwa ryo hotels now being the main mercure brand, this feels slightly above those - unless they found some serious defect that needs fixing.

Aren't those Grand Mercure? Or are they converting them to Mercure?
