Platinum on QF - Do you believe it possible to access the SYD F lounge with a connecting flight on a OW partner same day (Alaska Airlines ex LAX) but not the onward flight ex SYD (Delta SYD-LAX)?

Flying Delta to try out there Delta One Suite ex Australia but questionable if there lounge is going to be as nice as the QF F in SYD!

Thanks.

Unlikely, from OneWorld T&Cs:

oneworld Lounge Access for Frequent Flyers By Tier Status

Enjoy exclusive access to premium airport lounges around the world with oneworld Emerald or Sapphire frequent flyer tier status. Members of oneworld airline frequent flyer programmes with the equivalent of oneworld Emerald or Sapphire tier status can use lounges offered by oneworld airlines when departing on any flight marketed and operated by any oneworld member airline, regardless of cabin class being flown (exceptions are noted below).
Emerald tier frequent flyers can use First Class, Business Class or frequent flyer lounges.
Sapphire tier frequent flyers are welcome in Business Class* or frequent flyer lounges. (*does not include Qantas Domestic Business Lounges)
Emerald and Sapphire members may invite one guest to join them in the lounge. The guest must also be travelling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld carrier. You must be prepared to show your boarding pass and frequent flyer membership card, with oneworld Emerald or Sapphire tier status, to access a lounge. Access is available on the day of travel (or before 06:00am the following day), at the airport from which the oneworld flight on which the eligible customer is travelling departs.

….but you’ll be able to access the QF F lounge in LAX (as well as AA lounges and the AS lounge). The later is a broom cupboard - so don’t rush there if your doing a lounge crawl from TBIT to T6.

Yeah I generally use the Flagship lounge when connecting through as I mostly use AA - I actually find the mostly self service more convenient than the table/sit down/bar service at QF F.

I don't think it's far from 6 where Alaska flys out of anyway (nor is QF F in TB really I guess).

I flew AS out of LAX just a few days ago - had a light lunch in the QF lounge, relaxed for an hour in the Flagship before skipping the T5 AC and heading to the T6 AS Lounge for a short wait before my flight to SEA. (Some interesting beers in AS, but it is small compared to the others.)

It’s a bit of a winding, up and down schlep through the corridors between T5 and T6 but no more than 10 to 15 mins from AA and QF.

I timed 18 minutes from QF to T6 at a leisurely pace.

I was about to say the same thing! The beer selection in the AS lounge is worth the detour imo!
