Im OK with this. If you have the time and know-how and merit to lodge the complaint then kudos to him.

Im still pissy that PJs have been removed from our Etihad flight, they were promised at time of booking so Im OK with this guy.

As soon as I saw this article on the BBC I thought, 'I bet that is Sunwing'. I flew Sunwing LGW-YYZ about 6 years ago - the champagne service was advertised yet no champagne or sparkling wine was received on either flight - conveniently forgotten.

However, given the flights were $300 return and given they put me in a hotel room after a plane went tech on the return leg i wasn't of a mind to complain.

It's all about the pettiness of champagne vs sparkling wine.

Oh and money....

I'm also perfectly okay with this. I know this is legal in some parts of the world but speaking of "champagne" while it's only some cheap-cough sparkling is one of my personal 1st world bug bears in life ;-)

Mhm. Champagne!

Plaintiff is McDuff from Quebec (for any of you haven't read the article).

He drinks Duff beer, but thinks he's French. o_O

This annoys the cough out of me. We have known that champagne can only be used on wines/sparkling wines from the Champagne area, and because of this, it is sold at a premium price. By using the word, you are hitching your service to a premium brand. So,either follow through, or advertise correctly so as not to give a false impression.

Our shop had several pairs of Emirates pyjama sets for $5.00 per set. They went like hotcakes. (logos sell in this shop)
I own a Qantas blanket, cost me zilch. This previous shop was not allowed to sell stock with logos on.
