Yes unfortunately...the press release says it is the LH config, but EF is showing MH.

Sadly, it appears that SQ248 MEL-SIN 0700 is being discontinued...it is not showing up for bookings in late April. It was actually quite useful in spite of the early departure time...good for connections to Asian destinations.

I flew into MNL yesterday March 2 about 1615 (on CX919) and was surprised to notice VH-QPC sitting at what appeared to be a maintenance facility. Looking at flightaware, it was apparently the previous days QF19/20, which finally departed 27 hours late on Saturday night, Ouch!!

Re the A350 seats: agree totally...these seats are indeed the only ones really worth having on these a/c (was in 11A/K for all of my most recent trip). Pity about the rest of the cabin; hope I can manage to renew my PPS this year...

The MH lounge at MEL closed years ago; they now use the Marhaba lounge.

I sent the money on Sunday but bank is saying it may take 2-3 days,,,maybe going by carrier pigeon?

What is the state of things at MEL these days? After nearly 4 years I have finally found some fares/schedules/availability which make reasonable sense for my next trip and am flying SQ for it next month. As my departure time is 0700 (restarted SQ248) I would rather not front up to checkin any...
