Yes unfortunately...the press release says it is the LH config, but EF is showing MH.

Sadly, it appears that SQ248 MEL-SIN 0700 is being discontinued...it is not showing up for bookings in late April. It was actually quite useful in spite of the early departure time...good for connections to Asian destinations.

I flew into MNL yesterday March 2 about 1615 (on CX919) and was surprised to notice VH-QPC sitting at what appeared to be a maintenance facility. Looking at flightaware, it was apparently the previous days QF19/20, which finally departed 27 hours late on Saturday night, Ouch!!

Re the A350 seats: agree totally...these seats are indeed the only ones really worth having on these a/c (was in 11A/K for all of my most recent trip). Pity about the rest of the cabin; hope I can manage to renew my PPS this year...

Unlike a lot of the posters here I suspect, I have actually DONE similar to this 5 times so far this year; most recently (Oct 11) I got from T3 to T1 airside in 25 mins (around 1100), which is fairly typical (may take longer if security at T1 is busy). Your itinerary looks OK to me.

I vaguely recall that in the past Amex had a policy that if your a/c was underpaid by a small amount (less than $5 IIRC?) it was considered fully paid; this was apparently to allow for unexpected fees and charges. This was explicitly stated somewhere, but I am unsure whether it is still in effect.

My DC card says "Corporate" on the front (it used to be a company-issued card but that ceased 10+ years ago); does this apply to me? The website cited above is a bit vague.
