Partner and I got a couple of opups from Y to Y+ for HKG-SGN (at the boarding gate) and SGN-HKG (at check-in) early Feb. Busy Chinese New Year period.

QF8071 (DXB-CDG) from Y to J a couple of weeks ago. It was my 2nd ever flight with EK.

Two op-ups for me in July: MH31 (IST-KUL): Y to J (handed the new BP at the aircraft door) QF6 (SIN-SYD): Y to Y+ @ the check-in lounge.

Who knows... Research also indicates that people use their phone (or pretend to) to avoid a confrontational or awkward situation.

It's all very smooth. Weather-wise, I assume it could be cold-ish and wet.

Some people have commented on the possibility of QF shifting its hub out of SIN. Then what is the point for QF's refurbishment of its First Lounge at SIN?

An unexpected op-up from Y to F with AA for a quick hop from MCI to DFW. Only saw my name (together with another colleague's, both WPs) on the upgrade list at the boarding gate a few minutes before boarding.

The Finnair Bus will cost you €6.20 each way. It leaves from platform 10 in front of T2 and arrives at platform 30, next to the Central Railway Station. I was there last week and it was pretty cold for the whole week (plus drizzling for a couple of days). I hope it'll be nice and sunny for you...

I've made 3 bookings with CX recently. The 2 direct bookings on the CX site show up in my QF account, whilst the 3rd booking done by TA doesn't. I can't add it to my account either.

I am pretty sure that the armrests are immovable in the bulkhead row. 40G is my favourite seat when I travel solo in Y.

No JT for ADL-SYD and SYD-CBR yesterday. As others have noted: the video was disjointed, & the pilot did his job ok (could have been a tad smoother).
