    Thanks all.interestingly my wife’s name was added to the booking and she checked in. Then after the stay, and with no notice, i was refunded the points and they charged 230 euro on the assigned credit card. I’m planning to complain and will report back.

    Update - Resolved, but initial response was to decline the claim. Then I sent a nice email, they reviewed the boarding passes and within 20 min all sorted for both points and SCs. Thanks @MEL_Traveller for your advice - it worked :)

    I agree with you on what has happened in the past - but in our organisation at least, I've observed a longer term shift away from travel/face to face to Skype/Teams. I fear for my WP status longer term with this shift - but less travel for me won't be a bad thing.
