Local Champion is back and now available for Qantas & Velocity cards

It seems that at present the “Membership” button has been deleted from both the iOS and Android versions of the Amex app. It was until recently placed in the middle of the row of buttons at the bottom of the app screen. This means that the Local Champion module cannot be viewed. Furthermore...

    Ambassador

Yes, that’s correct. You do this at intercontinental.com/ambweekend, where you need to log on using your IHG Rewards credentials. I’m not sure whether you can see the free weekend rates before you enrol for Ambassador. I’ve been an Ambassador for way too long! Intercontinental Singapore is...

    Ambassador

Correct. No. It will give you a room that’s one level better than what you book. You will get the standard Ambassador perks such as late checkout and a gift (eg a bottle of wine or a fruit basket). You will NOT get lounge access or limo. Lounge access is usually an option on the IHG...

    Ambassador

I've been an Ambassador for many years but I am starting to question its value, given the arrival of my annual renewal notice. Renewals in recent years have been priced at US$150 and included a 10,000 point bonus voucher. This year (2018), no voucher is included but I have the option of paying...

Woolworths reviewing partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

OK folks, The first WW catalogue with the new Woolworths Dollar rewards has hit the streets. Prepare to be amazed (NOT!). What follows is a list of the entire 23 items (2 pages of items) that earn WW Dollars in the catalogue. A further 39 pages in the catalogue (about 250 items) promote...

Phone rings at the home of Lesley Grant, Qantas Loyalty CEO, 5am this morning (Sunday). Grant answers to hear a thick Irish accent: "Lesley, why is your mobile phone off?" Grant: Because I need a little sleep following our 1-hour yarn at 3am this morning Irishman: Well what are you going to...

There's no minimum load if you use EFT from your bank account or transfer funds from one Qantas Cash card to another. The BPay method might have a minimum, I'm not sure - I haven't used it for years because it's slow compared with the other 2 methods.

Get a free Qantas Cash debit MasterCard, load it with $10 and spend $2/year. $2 spend = 1 QFF point.

I don't see it as at all simpler. It is not at all clear as to how WW Dollars will be earned. We are told that these will be displayed on orange tickets next to the relevant WW Dollars-earning products. One can imagine that the earn will be higher, percentage wise, for higher margin...

Yes, but we have already seen the signs of shock/urgency at QFF with that email on Friday that implied negotiations around the continuance of the QF/WW were still in train. QF needs to do something, fast, to explain that email to its QFF membership base at the very least.

I just tried to login to the QFF accounts of my kids to figure out my family's earning pattern. With no WW points and no Optus points (Optus left the QFF scheme recently) coming through in the future, this could affect my kids. This happened: Frequent Flyer - Temporarily Unavailable The...

You also have the recently introduced option of using FlyBuys at Coles to earn FlyBuys points that you can then convert to Etihad miles. Significantly, you can also earn Etihad status credits via FlyBuys. Etihad miles can be used for Virgin Australia flights (Etihad is a major Virgin Australia...
