Thought I would come out of my lurking closest (haven't been on AFF for quite a while) to say my husband has received Diamond status last night. It was status matched from both IHG & Accor Platinum.
Thanks so much for that info. Sounds like a good system then if you have one large gathering anywhere with 16 friends then it has paid for itself. Maybe if you have AFF events anywhere then you need to limit each event to 16 people - just have all the different events happen to be at the same...
So I can see that the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove is listed and has a current accommodation offer of 15% of the Flexible Rate, so I guess that means they are participating.
However under dining, there is nothing mentioned at all. Do you think that this means there is no special offer for...
I just noticed on the WBC website that their business platinum card only pays 0.5ppd for government transactions. I am hoping that this has always been the case and it is not a sign of things to come.
I agree on all counts. I hope to be at the next one too. I wanted to go to the SIN one, and really argued with myself whether to go to this one. I just need to close my eyes remind myself that they are only points and are there to be used!
Hopefully I listen to my heart instead of my head...
I think each supp card member can set up their own login on the Amex website for their personal card on your account. Log in as them and they can click on Manage My PIN
Just a reminder, if you lodge your BAS electronically then the date you need to lodge and pay by is extended by 14 days for most of the BASes. Cut offs are then Mar BAS is 12 May, Jun BAS is 11 Aug, Sep BAS is 11 Nov. The Dec BAS remains as 28 Feb as an extra month has already been given.
OT: Sorry for the late comment regarding this, but I just noticed on my statement tonight the following quote. Nothing to do with ATO but given prozac's comment I thought I would mention it anyway. I guess they don't like missing out on their share of forex transaction so they will charge you...
Otherwise there used to be a few days a week that have 15 hour stopovers if you take the correct flight (although this was from LHR which is more expensive to depart from). It is worth looking at the weekly schedule from the city that you wish to depart from.
Thanks for the hint Ben.t. Last...
Just a word of warning, you may be giving up point earning opportunities in an attempt to earning Myer gift cards.
I once hired from Europcar and they were advertising that you could earn Myer One points. I asked them about it and they said I had to choose whether to earn Virgin or Myer One...

Are you meaning that you Bpay your insurance for points? That is a great idea if it is not treated as a cash advance.
I had a look and the ATO don't accept credit card Bpay payments according to BPAY - Search
When I go to ADL I take a cold bag and come home with Haigh's, Fruchocs (before I found Drakes), Arnotts Yo Yo biscuits and Fritz. I didn't last week as it was too hot.
Further OT again: Yes Drakes can be expensive, but it is a South Australian chain that also operates in Qld. For me it is the only source here of Fruchocs and Yoyo biscuits so I do visit them occasionally.
Now back to EDR talk….
