This tells me you're not buying at the cellar door price and/or never bought consistently enough to be a stonewaller... As penegal said above, Rockford CD prices are generally good value and not even close to Penfolds/Henschke/Torbrek etc prices
The 2016 Rifle Range is definitely not brett affected. I opened a bottle last night and it was fantastic. Maybe wait for next year's 2016 release of BS and R&S.
