They don’t. I was told if machine ever asks for one to use the last 4 digits of the card number.

From what I know you can’t change your home address to a foreign one on Amex. They can send you a replacement card etc abroad but not make a permanent address change

I have autopay off and have a calendar reminder to manually top up every month and then use my platinum card.

Same I was surprised that you could only settle Amex bill by bank transfer.

From what I know you can pay by bank transfer

I asked livechat when I got my card and they said use the four digit code on the card as the pin if it’s ever needed. I was dubious this was the case. Never been asked for a pin yet.
