Agreed. We flew bne-sin recently in y+ and the service on both flights was fantastic. The cabin was less than a third full in bit cases which may have helped. On the way there everyone in y+ was personally welcomed by the csm. This didn't happen on the way back, but I was given an express card...

I had a similar problem. I called Qantas - it will taken them a few days ("need to get finance to retrieve in archives" or something) but it arrived as promised.

My AB experiences reflect what has been said here; it's ok, not up to QF standard. I was able to use the AB 'lounge' in CGN which was a bit weird. Also used the BA lounge in TXL which wasn't too bad.

Very much enjoying your TR. Did the train from Butterworth to BKK and didn't have a great trip due to horrible neighbours - the train was also late so had a mad dash to the airport (my fault for not leaving enough time in between). Looking forward to the rest.

Hi again, thank you for your responses and advice. One of the reasons for flying F was to laze around in and enjoy the Flounge, as I've never been in it before, and may never get the opportunity again!? I might consider BA16 if new F is a high probability. Another (dumb newbie) question but...

Hi everyone, long time stalker, first time poster. I am looking at using some QFF points for a birthday trip to Asia with my partner. At the moment, there are two F seats available on either BA16 (Syd-Sin) or QF29 (Mel-Hkg) on the date that I would like to fly out. I've never flown F before...
