Well the time has come, Bundy Bear has to move back to Brisbane for work.

I am looking at Tuesday 24 February.

Trying to plan the last few weeks in Perth isn't easy, having to organize a removalist for the furniture; pack up all the stuff and send it back east, get a final reading for the gas and the electricity, phone Telstra to suspend the account organize the mail redirection but also get the mail redirected.

Talking to Cynicor a suggestion was made for Asian.

So who is interested.

I send out a PM to round up interest,

I know Cove, and JohnM were in town and I am sure a few others will be around as well.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Ohh I will actually be in PER the night before.
Still haven't met any local AFFers, bad luck, next time...

I'm in. Will cut work early as Tuesday is often a later night.

Suggestions on cuisine, price and location welcome. I believe anything accessible on the Freo line is good, which makes Perth and Northbridge ideal because they work for those coming from the North too.

If Asian and BYO, cheap and good the best option is Hawker Cuisine in Francis St.
A new Asian place with a great menu and drinks list is Darling supper club. Would be ideal for up to 6 I reckon, it is a really nice place. Moderate $ and a more casual sharing style of dining reminiscent of Duende and Old Crow (when you aren't forced to get a set menu).

Call me Platinum for now, if someone doesn't mind starting a list?

Colour me gold. Work is unpredictable at the moment. If we could keep it within the cbd or nb would be great.

Darlings looks pretty cool to me.

So far:

Bundy Bear
Cynicor
Cove
JohnM

Ooops, Darlings is closed on Tuesday. So new venue or new date needed. Wednesday is out.

Sorry - I have NBN connections booked for the 24th, so wont be in the city that day...

Hawkers is pretty good mate! But might not be upper class enough for AFFs

I am looking at CBD or Northbridge location.

Welcome back. Has it been 3 years already?

No didn't get that long, pity as I really do like it here.

A couple of dinner options.

Dusit Thai, 249 James Street Northbridge.

Another option, its Italian is Millioncino 451 Murray Street

3rd Option is Lalla Rookh as I haven't got to try that place, QF WP was there when he was last in Perth as part of Meet a Moderator.

I strongly advise against Millioncino. A friend of mine lunches there regularly and periodically kind of insists I join him. It is not good IMO. PJM joined us once and she is of the same opinion.

Dusit Thai still interests me the most as Asian was top of my list unless Lalla Rookh may be of interest to some people.

Damn, I have a coughtail party at the Zoo on Tuesday. Thursday is free but don't want to muck everyone else up.

Dusit Thai is nice. Low key, they know how to put spice in things, that's for sure. Never complained about the food there too, and well priced from memory.
