We have a 2 night stay here booked through Booking.com. It was a spot where there were few little available reviews but the option of a balcony, view of the river & general promise of a comfortable stay won us over. The check-in process was a bit of a failure with us using the tourist info centre to get a specific direction to a restaurant where we then got an escort to a different building for the actual room. Once inside all is fine & as represented. It is a big, airy, light room right on the town square with a balcony, view of the river & 2 extremely comfortable king single beds. There is a comfortable lounge, great, roomy shower and an overall sense of a well refurbished room. The advertised minibar transpires to be the smallest operating fridge I have operated.-have seen them before but haven’t used, just big enough for a 2 litre bottle of coke. Breakfast is 50 metres up the road at an associated restaurant & was a great spread & typically a large lot of food-yoghurt, fruit, bread, meats, cheeses, tomato, jams, tea, coffee, juice etc & all good quality. Our attempt to pay by credit card as advised on the booking was met by an answer that the machine wasn’t working at the moment!
