The kitchen is being redone for a few weeks, hence a limited menu.

Kitchen improvements or kitchen 'enhancements'? :lol:

"Great News! we've enhanced our 1st kitchen, with a boiling water pot installed for NP hotdogs, a microwave for nachos and a NP popcorn machine for dessert."

hehehe, kidding, just too cynical after Business lounge closures over christmas.etc.
 
Any significant changes to the breakfast menu that anyone knows of? There again next weekend and wondering if I should adjust expectations! :-|

Good man, markis10! Looks like I will need to adjust those expectations... my favourite of late (when in for b'fast) has been the Ham, Leek & Gruyere Omelete... :(

adding... I see ham and gruyere in a toasted sambo option in the 11AM+ set... perhaps they can rustle something up if I ask extra nice :)
 
Thought something looked new yesterday. The Char siu pork with Spice Temple pickles & black vinegar dressing was brilliant!

Thanks for the kind words, it feels somewhat appropriate that said 25000th post be made from the F lounge, might have to raise a glass to it!
 
I tried to find out more (e.g., dates, what they are trying to achieve, etc) from the QF web-site but found nothing more on this. Was the kitchen causing issues?

looks great, no Flounge coming up this/next month, so will have to go down to my local chinese BBQ shop... for some char siu, maybe I will bring some bubbly down there to go with it, to see what the fuss is about:)

BTW Happy Chinese New Year to those who are celebrating..

There is no kitchen, essentially it's a chef working where the pass used to be, to turn out what they are turning out is extraordinary.
 
It would appear that there is no fried food. No fried eggs and no chips. The menu still looks good though.

Does anyone know when the renovations are due to be completed? I'll be there on 22 Feb.

This is kinda comforting news - I was due to go on QF7 last week but had to postpone that until later this year. I would be very disappointed if only a limited menu was available.
