To the observation deck on the top, that's all. Yes, amazing. I'd like to stay there one day.

next time skip the observation deck and head up to ku de ta bar - no entry fee and almost the same views, plus you get to oogle everyone in the pool. they do some decent bar snacks

The amazing bit is the roof-top and relaxing by/swimming in the roof top pool. Which is well worth staying there for. The hotel itself is decidedly ho-hum.

Agreed. Although the Club Room - lounge on the top floor behind the pool is pretty special - good snacks and champagne

So, did anyone manage to work out how to book upgradeable fares through the .br site?

I know there was talk of it early on, but haven't been able to find out a way to do it...

You can by picking a date when the cheapie are not on offer, like the October long weekend.

Tangential question time.

Anyone tried this with the BA flights to SIN / LHR from SYD?

Happy wandering

Interesting. In WA we don't celebrate Labor Day, but we do observe Labour Day.

On Labour Day we do tend to see parade marches of the unions and what not out in force.

Apart from that, (almost) everyone else has a day off.

Dont you mean May day?

I always thought the marches were for Labour Day, not May Day, which is more a Northern Hemisphere thing (although I believe NT calls it as such).

My mistake... so this year's Labour Day will probably be pretty passive, eh?

I suspect so, this is after all our first Labour Day we are celebrating versus it being a Queens Birthday last year. Nice way to end the school holidays, I suspect ex SIN will be op up heaven on 6th and 7th.
