I’m looking for a lightweight suite sleeve/bag that I can take on board and not be counted as my carry-on luggage, but stronger with a little more protection than the thin bag that comes with a suit. I have found a couple that look like they would be alright below but can anyone suggest any others that I've missed?

Look at this Tumi

I paid about $800 for mine from memory. It's the Tumi Trifold Carry On Leather Garment Carrier.

You should check out the wingman from Henty. I've got one of these and they are awesome. The bag rolls up really easily and is efficient on planes and commuting on trains/buses etc. I've never had an issue with creases etc.

henty.cc is the site

I always count it as a garment bag and have never been pulled up.

Side profile is only 4-5" which is narrower than most handbags..

I have the Tumi - not in leather though. I certainly count it as hand luggage. If travelling int'l I use that and the Tumi rollaboard - good for a three week trip.
