Family Zone in lounges

As far as I know there is no Family zones in any Virgin Lounges. I have not been to all of the Virgin Lounges around the country, so that may not be the case but I have not come across any in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Canberra. Can anyone confirm this for the other lounges around the country. Yes some of us travel with kids any we hate annoying other passengers, a small kids zone as per the below picture, from AUSBT, of this family zone space in the new Qantas Gold Coast lounge would be great.

There doesn't look to be much noise blocking in those open slats...

I do think that kids zones are a great idea. Travelling with kids is tough enough and these facilities are great.

You are right about the not too much noise blocking but it's more about having some entertainment to keep them quiet and relaxed! plane spotting with our little one gets noisy with the excitement.

The NZ Koru lounge in Sydney has a kids area we've used flying DJ international.

I'm not sure how common kids areas are in QF domestic lounges either - apart from OOL. Very good idea though.

That's good to know, we will get to use that for the Hawaii trip in March.

YEs! All for family zones in the lounges as both a parent and a passenger who travels sans kids!

I have a better idea, just put the kids into checked luggage
