I'm trying to get to Buenos Aires in September...

I have about 100,000 Virgin points and I wonder if there is any way I can use them as I can't easily see any flights from Sydney on Virgin metal.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Best call the contact centre and ask them.

That, additionally I dont think you can book it online as it is operated by Delta, so would have to be through the contact center anyway. By my reckoning (total guestimation by using tables on the website so YMMV - literally) you should have enough points at least one way, both if your lucky with points + pay.

Having said that, September isn't that far off in the land of rewards seats so availability is probably an issue.

Delta?

What would be the routing?

Would it be an okay flight compared to Virgin?

DL flights have shown up in the booking engine before (when booking mine I was offered MEL-SYD on DJ then SYD-LAX on DL, which I laughed at considering they also had MEL-LAX direct on the same day for less).

Ah ok then might work then. Well, it would if it was up at any rate. :p

It's fairly round about but not much you can do unfortunately if you want to use point's I would say. At a brief glance it appears it is SYD-LAX-ATL-BUE which would be a barrel of fun no doubt!

Not really across VA partner award arrangements, but could you get access to SQ flights SYD-SIN-GRU(via BCN). Availability might be hard.
