Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Federal member for the seat of Indi (in NE Vic) and Shadow Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.

Simo, I knew she was a pollie, but even I had to check her profile. So you're not bad for not knowing her from Adam.

She often does Noddy duty for Tony Abbott, but only when Concetta Fierravanti-Wells is unavailable.

So its true, shadow ministers have a Commonwealth funded shadow!

Nope not true. All Federal MP's, Judges etc have access to ComCar's - its actually a cost saving measure - saves booking taxi's/private hire cars all the time..

eg a private hire car is about $70 for a short trip x 154 MP's, 76 Senator's and 9 High court judges. Even per day it just makes more sense to have a fleet of cars on standby.

Don't think of it as drivers, shadows, but of a large company that ALWAYS has execs travelling DAILY, and simply having people at the airport to pick them up, employed by the company, to drop the home/work - actually makes alot of sense.

btw - if you look REALLY hard at a domestic airport, in the arrival area there is an unmarked phone on the wall - thats the ComCar phone.

To keep on topic, I posted earlier in this thread that I once saw the great Little Pattie on a flight from Brisbane to Sydney, but I also need to add many years ago I spied Bob the Silver Bodgie puffing away on a cigarette outside the Melbourne domestic terminal.

I do the regular commute down to sydney from the Gold Coast for Work (every 2 weeks) and several times sat near/next to Baby John Burgers maybe we have the same travel agent.

O/T- ummm why don't they have a motor vehicle and drive themselves around? Would be cheaper and they're just pollies :)

I saw Peter Garrett the other day... No he didn't start singing. I considered singing to see if he'd sing with me but I couldn't do it...
