Amex - 5 Bonus Points at Vintage Cellars (Exp: 31 Dec 10)

Anyone who shops at Vintage Cellars should not that for purchases over $100 attract 5 Bonus Points instead of the usual 3. I think this goes only until the end of December.

As an example I spent $165 this week and received a total of 980 points for the transaction. The only problem I see is that this could encourage you to drink more.

I think you will find in the T&C that is for the offer on the Reidel Glasses. I cannot pinpoint it right now but I am fairly certian it is to december.
Here is my purchase statement from yesterday.

Bugga the glasses. I started laying the stock-in for Xmas on Friday made a $474.74 purchase. Today I note the entry in my account which reads 475 base points and 2,375 bonus points for a total of 2,850 points.

if you are gonig to spend you may as well get the bonus.

I checked and it is definitely on until 31 Dec 2010. What's more I managed to book a J class return to Europe on SIA for under 140,000 MR points, so using the bonus earn it works out that you have to spend LESS than $23,333 to buy a $7,000 ticket.

Gotta go, another bottle of Grange awaits...................

Hi prozac, Yes I did and my apologies for not getting back here sooner to thank you for the heads up on this offer. Unfortunately I have not made much of an inroad into the purchase yet. I am off to Berlin tomorrow and nervously watching the snow reports from Frankfurt airport.
