American Express Preferred Seating code for Broadway

Does anyone know the code to put in to Ticketmaster for Amex Preferred seating for The Addams Family Musical?
For US users you enter the contact number on the back of the card (anyone know that?) - for overseas users???

I would use a calling card for cheap phone calls and ring from here a 1 800 number for Amex in the US and ask them if they can give you a code. There is the chance that they may not have factored in the concept of someone outside the US wanting to do this.

When myself and SO were in NYC I signed up to www.nytix.com which cost about USD7.00 for a 30 day period which gives you access to their codes for discounted theatre tickets. What's good about it is that you can see the seat numbers on offer then look at the seat map of the theatre to find out where exactly the seats are.

We got 2nd row tickets for Westside Story on Broadway on a Thursday night using nytix. If you're able to go mid-week you've got a much better chance of good seating. The membership to nytix also tells you how to get tickets to NY tv shows such as David Letterman, Rosie O'Donnell etc.

The link below is for ticketmaster via the nytix site but also has an option for Amex preferred seating & looks like you only have to enter your Amex card number.

Earlier this year I bought a ticket to an LA Kings NHL Game that had a deal for AMEX Cardholders via Ticketmaster

It required a password to get the discount. I didn't know it, but tried a couple of basic ones hoping for a fluke.

Surprisingly, the password was AMEX.

It may or probably wont work, but give it a go anyway.

Amex in Australia had no idea about what the code should be so I tried the 1-800 number from the US from their website and it worked!
1-800-528-4800

You just enter the numbers 8005284800 without the leading 1 and you have access to tickets.
