I dont think that Border Security is being made or produced by Channel 7 anymore.
All the Youtube ones are now passe, very old.

I refused to watch Border Security because they never came and filmed me at work. They were really missing out on some exciting stuff `like going multiple pages of invoices to see if the correct Tariff Item and duty rate had been applied to the several hundreds of items listed. Or having extensive discussions about whether a shipment had the correct INCOTERMS applied or had actually been shipped as FOB rather than CIF as claimed. There were also fascinating discussions about whether a rotary tricone drill head meet the terms of a particular Tariff Concession Order.

All riveting stuff that would have made great TV.

I certainly had plenty of those sorts of discussions with brokers.

Yes the old days of Inland Services certainly would have been an eye opener.

What happens if you do the online form, and your phone battery is dead on arrival? I guess you have to quickly fill in the paper form.

I personally like the paper form which I fill in whilst waiting to board, stick it in my passport, and forget about it till I get it requested.

According to the app no. If dont have phone to scan qr code they will bring up the record by swiping your passport. They already have all the details they just need to view them.
