Qantas Flights between Darwin and Singapore

Yep. SQ full most days. Iv used the Qantas flight a few times, always a few spare seats. The trouble is that the connections ex sin are minimal. Can’t get to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok on the same day. Red eyes to China, Hong Kong and Japan.
The Singapore to Darwin flights however always seem busier.
doomed by the lack of connections

Also the UK connection mindset.
I think if Qantas had more favourable timeslot for this service, extend to Bangkok via Singapore and introduce more connection with OneWorld and 6E at SIN it would be more viable.

They ran it earlier out of DRW earlier this year with a SIN arrival around 1630 with leaves plenty of time to connect to other Oneworld flights leaving between 7pm and 9pm. No idea why the changed it to a 1740 departure out of Darwin.
