On Thursday 3 September 2026, B738 VH-8IH as VA82 from Bali's DPS arrived at its OOL international gate at 0756 hours, 61 minutes late.
However its next flight, a domestic VA508, the 0820 hours from BNE to SYD managed to be in the air by 0927 hours, so presumably pushed back at around 0910.
This is very efficient, much faster than VAi to VAd or QFi to QFd or the reverse typical transfers of aircraft in SYD or MEL.
I've only used OOL airport years ago, perhaps before it had international flights. Is there no need for the aircraft to be towed or otherwise move between international and domestic gates at OOL?
