Just got an email from Jetstar that my included main meal no longer comes with a free hot drink and instead they’ve added a $5 voucher. Hot and cold drinks are $5 so I guess no difference.

It also appears the menu has been updated with 23rd street gin gone and replaced by beefeaters.

The Bacon & Egg Roll has also been replaced by a Bacon & Egg muffin.

$5 voucher probably better for those wanting to upgrade to an alcoholic beverage.

There’s also no longer a discount for pre-ordering. Unless you buy the $15 on-board credit for $14 and then hope they haven’t run out. It also means the dom light “meals,” are the same cost as in international ones.

We had the muffin recently on a flight from Bali. It wasn't bacon.

They sent us the email too - we'd ordered the toastie but email said we'd ordered this roll. No way. I got onto chat and asked them how much the hot drink cost. Don't worry she said, you just pay the difference 😉. Didn't seem to understand that they'd better not do that.

$15 for a toastie is a bit of a rip.

Only 5 pound on the intra Europe low costs.
You're on Deathstar.

The money probably goes towards the bribe to have the pilot land safely.
