Oh I should add I have ~15hrs transit in SGN - I have done these flts b4 and stump up at Ibis Hotel just outside airport - ABTC Card saved my skin as queues for immig were horrendous - through in like 15 mins with ABTC card

Ibis Hotel is 8min walk outside airport - Google Maps is staggering how it guides you through the car park then over an 8 lane road to get you there

Final words - hard and soft product more than acceptable - but I did have 2 daytime flats - no idea how good they would be to sleep.

All Crew totally accommodating with what they could supply.

As mentioned in another thread this morning that if you are arr into SGN and do not hold ABTC then definitely pay for the express service - queues for immig are horrendous.

This was almost last minute booking as in flt booked Sat 15th for Tue 18th dep - MEL-SGN-PVG in J cost $2,570 - all things considered that is reasonable IMO

We have flown them several times back to Australia overnight and I always manage to get 3-4 hours of solid sleep which is perfect for me.
