Velocity domestic routing for connecting flights

Hi all,

I'm looking at some reward seats for PPP-BNE-MEL.

I can see 4x Y rewards on PPP-BNE...
I can see 4x Y rewards on BNE-MEL for a stack of flights...

But when I set PPP as origin and MEL as destination, those same connecting flights show no rewards

If I try and do multi-city domestic, the award inventory seems different again .

If I book the flights on two PNRs, will Virgin check the bags through? Or will they force collect/re-check nonsense in BNE?

Force recollection as VAs policy is not to through check luggage.

Have you tried calling and explaining what you are after?
