New Avios partner: earn and redeem on Xiamen Airlines

A new airline is now available for you to earn and spend Avios on - Chinese carrier Xiamen Airlines. Interestingly, Xiamen is a member of the SkyTeam alliance.

As he says, interesting that Xiamen is Skyteam . HfP shows that another route out of Australia via Xiamen will now be possible using Avios.

Xiamen has one of the lowest rankings of chinese carriers. Their economy is very basic. Can’t comment on their business cabins, but I’m not in a race to get back on one of their planes again soon

Would never consider them myself, but it will get you out of Australia to Europe/NA if desperate

Have flown on their J product to: from Australia and liked it. Reckon they would make my top 3 of Chinese carriers.
Very happy if the points option leads to more award J seats
