quick review from the Garden lounge, Qsuite MEL-DOH-CDG experience

Currently in the Garden Lounge. Pretty quiet. Almost no one in dining. No queue for the showers. Sleep room is under maintenance (perhaps the same A/C issue mentioned by @RooFlyer?). Shocking lack of work spaces and the only area with working level tables that aren't for dining are in a type of booth down the far end which has reclining seats in the same booth so that in 2 of the 3 booths people have commandeered the whole lot. Perhaps there's a proper business centre I've missed...

There is a large business centre at the Al Mourjan Lounge; the couple of times I used it (pre-Garden), I was alone.. Not that you should need to go there to use one.

I used one of the dining benches last time I was there, for computer use. Like your visit, uncrowded.

Did you get your Dyptique?

Good to know if I’m in this position again. The dining area had filled to capacity when I wandered down a bit later to get food so I wouldn't have lasted long I don’t think.

Yes! Two different women’s bag styles, same scent in each though. I also asked if I could have a men’s bag for a friend and was very kindly offered one. I’ll post photos when I can later on. I much prefer this pouch style to the previous ones I’ve received, these are much more useful.

Everyone must have been using the wifi on the last 2 QR flights I had a week ago as it was slow. Was much better on SQ.
It depends if you get Starlink or not. Starlink is amazingly fast. The other option is really not worth bothering with

Someone was giving away the Dyptique on my local buy nothing group. I've got two bags tucked away somewhere. I must have a clean out

The flight from DOH-BKK had Starlink. It did offer the benefit of still being able to use it crossing India I guess.

Back to the lounges. On our way to the UK the initial flight came into the North terminal so we used the Al Mourjan Garden lounge. Apart from being big and spacious It didn't impress me. We didn't want to eat there.

On the return from Europe we came into the south terminal and were staying in the Oryx Airport hotel so we used the original Al Mourjan lounge and we both preferred that. Very convenient when staying at the Oryx and popping over to the lounge for meals.

I did the same routine on our recent trip to Europe and like you preferred the Al Mourjan lounge.
