Is 2hrs long enough for a shower

Hi,

I have a booking in J on qr989 Mel- Doh arriving around 2330, my next flight is qr703 to Jfk at 0120, is there time to get a shower if I arrive a bit early in Doha? Which lounges have the greatest number of showers?

More than enough but the issue is the queue/waiting list if it’s a busy time.

IME I would say likely not.
That’s the busiest time for the lounges and there can be quite a wait for a shower.

Would depend on everything aligning. No bus gate, preferably no transit security (straight into the terminal on arrival), no massive hike to the gate for the JFK flight.

@elogic As the others have said, the stars would have to align, but head straight for the new Garden lounge, near the Orchard at the newer, extended part of the terminal. There are showers both left and right of the entry and I think at least a couple of dozen - maybe 2 dozen each side?

If you get the transit security up that end of the terminal, once you go through, its down a level (stairs IIRC) and the Orchard is facing you. The lounge is directly opposite, but you have to enter from one level down again - entry via lifts.

I’ve done it in well less than 2 hours, probably even less than 1.5 but was lucky a shower was available. Did get hassled a bit, knocked on the shower three times to get me to hurry up, which didn’t actually help me trying to have a shower quickly much!!
