Is there a trick to Qatar J awards? 90K visible in the summary, not in the results

Looking for early October 2024, funnily enough, from ATH. I have SQ J savers booked MEL/LHR; that was a breeze, basically could pick any flight I wanted. But the return with my QR points is much more difficult. It's relatively easy to get to any of the big three mid-east hubs from ATH or IST, but the long sector back to Melbourne is very tricky for availability

I haven't had any luck seeing anything available from Doha anywhhere in ANZ from August to october. Might need to stick with SQ.

Just found 2 x ATH-MEL for early October. For those looking there is excellent saver availability just released ex-Europe for next October. Virtually every flight I looked at in October had J award seats.

I booked through Velocity (fees and charges not much fun - $750 x 2), but thought I save the Avios for another day.
