The SC calculator on Qantas website shows the Qantas SC earn for BA flights from PRG to LHR but does not show JAL as an option. JAL codeshares on the BA flight. If ticketed on the JAL flight number is the SC earn the same as BA rate?

I would expect so. It’s OW marketed and operated, so no issue with it falling into to the “Not eligible” bucket.

My flight would be in business class so they are all seem to be in the one earning bucket. I am guessing that the SC earn would therefore be the same as BA which is 40. It is odd that the dropdown list only lets you select BA or AA and not JAL. BA and AA earn the same SC but different points.

AA has preferential earn so expect the BA rate. There are many scenarios (gaps) where the QF calc doesn’t cater for all codeshare combos.
