TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Finished KIN which I enjoyed. Is there a Season 2? Don't mind a bit of violence.
Started on VIGIL on SBS ONDEMAND which is made by same people as Line of Duty. Well put together as expected of British drama.

Yes I believe there is a series 2. Vigil 1&2 are good.

Kin 2 starting showing in UK early this year so yes - come on SBS - time to drop

Yes, watched it earlier this year. It's a bit weak...

Started watching Rabbit Hole on a flight, story line is good with many twists, even if some of it is a bit unrealistic, :)

I do like the overall storyline with a few very current scenarios especially the mention of Putin.

What on?

Just finished watching Vigil. Not same calibre as Line of Duty but watchable.
Oh, I was talking about Kin season 2. Not sure if we've seen Vigil, doesn't ring a bell.

Mrs FB and I watched and enjoyed it, it also reminded me in some places of Mr Robot.

I've just started watching Miracle Workers on Stan and while it's stupid, it is making me laugh quite a bit. Sort of along the lines of The Good Place and similar in style to Party Down and Superstore, that style of comedy. Good to just stare at and zone out.

SBS ONDEMAND again, River.
Actors: Stellan Skarsgård, Nicola Walker, Lesley Manville. Ep.1 shaping up well.
Nicola Walker is a superb actor - so versatile
Rewatching ‘4 weddings and a funeral’ recently and - boom blink and you’ll miss it - she was part of that dreadful greasy off-key duo in Wedding one ‘singing’ “Stand by your man”👍

I think I have just watched one of the best British drama series ever.
6th Commandment is a true story of a manipulative con artist who inveigles himself into relationships with elderly people then drugs/murders for financial gain. Its (so frighteningly) good
Tim Spall, Anne Reid are both brilliant as the victims and a young Irish actor (cannot recall his name) plays the narcissistic Ben Field powerfully

Was a decent watch, although could have probably been completed in 2 episodes rather than 4.

I also enjoyed it, and concur that the cast was excellent.

Watched the first ep of The Winter King (Stan) last night. I enjoyed it. I think the director is overusing the fish-eye lens (or blurred edges, sharp subject) effect a bit, but it might be ok. Pretty big approval disparity on Rotten Tomatoes 80% critics 38% audience. Question of who you trust more maybe
