CX Awards on QF website

I recall many years ago before the website upgrade there were issues with QF website showing CX awards, which has since been resolved



I've doing a few searches today but while CX website shows an abundance of awards seats between SYD and HKG in Oct in W/R/E, QF's website is showing none - and doesn't even give you the option for P+pay on these flights. Instead it tries to route through Perth for some strange reason

This is likely just CX not releasing some awards to partners

Which is not unusual, although CX availability via QF generally is pretty good (especially 355+ days out ie they get released before QF releases their own seats).

I‘d also suggest filtering on “reward seats” to hide the 375k “anyseat ripoff” seats.

Not available on BA either, so it's definitely CX withholding access to partners, which they do a fair bit.

Ah. I saw some the other day looking at Asia to Europe May’ish next year but that was incidental to what I was actually looking for.
