Hi everyone! Getting back into the swing of planning and was looking at Ritz Carlton Bahrain for October for around 4 nights. Does anyone know the frequency of Marriott Bonvoy specials or even what is considered a “good” or even “great” deal. Have Platinum with IHG and Diamond with Hilton and I know they had status matching in 2021 but that has since ended. Happy to wait, not in any rush to book, but new to MB so unfamiliar with timings etc. Thanks for any guidance 😊

I think the question you ask depends on many different factors none of which are very predictable.
If you are talking stays where you get bonus the last global offer has ended, Such offers are now irregular, not quarterly like Hilton.
But there should be one early 2022.
As far as special cash rates go these may depend on region, country, and hotels.
Trying to predict good rates or deals for Ritz Carlton Bahrain from afar is almost impossible.
But I have seen special rates from time to time on various Marriott hotel brands from time to time.
Others may have more ideas.

I always book a fully flexible rate when I first start to plan my trip. I then watch the prices up until the end of the free cancellation period.

If the rate goes up, I have my booking; if the rate goes down I re-book at the lower rate first, then cancel my existing booking.

Works for me.

Thanks Ric!

Thanks Jacques! I have done that with some of the other bookings, but I’m just not savvy with MB so don’t know what is a good deal or if they even exist.
I may end up doing as you say though as it at least secures the room.
