Cathay Pacific named world's best airline at Skytrax awards

Some people treat these awards with a grain of salt.

Hard to argue though.

Best Business Class: Etihad
Best Cabin Crew: Malaysia (again!)
Best Economy Class: Qatar Airways
Best overall: Cathay Pacific

Although Qantas have dropped out of the top 5, it's staggering that they score so well when you look at their asian competition (Yes, I know we are in Asia as well....)
Air New Zealand, top 5 in both Business and Economy; wow who'd a thought.......

Any comments?

I can't really comment on the other airlines, as I've never flown them; but Air NZ I've found to have a terrific soft and hard product in Y and C.
