Noticed today that Qantas Card Offers have a 150 Qantas Points for spending $40 at BP on my registered Mastercard. Will stack nicely.

Mine is only 100 Qantas Points for a $50 spend so I've now decided not to take it up...

Haha yes atrocious return on investment, but if you're going for the SCs anyway and don't have a card with a better points per dollar rate, it beats nothing!

Got this email today. Nice to know that the spend is tracking

Did anyone find any good non-fuel purchase options besides a carton of Kit-Kats?

With the extended lock-down and road trips cancelled, this offer will be a challenge - I might just sneak in 3 of 5 fuel top ups…

So I topped up yesterday with $50.05 worth at one of my smaller local BPs. At the current rate (with lockdown restrictions) I’ll probably be one petrol spend short... 😔. So I tried to see if there was anything obvious that could make up one purchase or part thereof.

Apart from some of the smaller things usually found at a servo, nothing of use to me lept out, but things that may help others I saw include: Pool Cleaner (chloride?) tubs - but I don’t have a pool. Gas bottles - my BBQ is piped NG. Bags of fire wood bricks - I don’t have a combustion heater (and it’s forecast to reach 27°C today)!

Cool Change Coming?
Yeah, but still the issue of not having something to burn them in!

Hmm, I wonder if they have wood fired pizza ovens?

Just got my 50 sc. Looks like they count towards lifetime.
Then I'll run out and fill up the tank this morning, as I only need one more purchase to make it to five - and I'm only 21 credits off LTG. I reckon I can squeeze it in. Always a few items I can pick up in the store to get the spend over $50
