Seeking advice on late May Qatar booking

I have an end of May Qatar booking HAN-MOW. So far, both legs on the flight are marked unconfirmed but no specific communications as to flight cancellations received to date. Seeking advice on the best strategy to receive a refund

Neither Hanoi nor Moscow are on QR's current list of airports being serviced:


Most airlines are implementing rolling 'confirmations' of cancellations, in part so they don't have a bigger avalanche of customers to deal with at any one time. End of May is still probably outside their cancellation window.

I'd wait until either they officially cancel the flights OR say 4-7 days prior to the scheduled departure and then CALL them (first thing in the morning - their call centre starts at 8am AEST). They may push the voucher option, but will do a refund, without penalty.
