Qatar online checkin query

We have finally cashed in our long saved for QFF points and have Qatar F flights booked Perth Gatwick return in a couple of weeks. Given that it has taken until I am 70 to save these up! I am unfamiliar with online checkin and prefer the old fashion face to face service. As we have allocated seats already is there any disadvantage in booking in at Perth and Gatwick airports rather than online. Thanks.
We are really looking forward to the flights in J but it would be better if you lot stopped going on about qsuites!

Where possible, I check in online even though I know I will get the human interaction at the airport. You might have a mobile boarding pass on your phone but the agent will still give you a paper copy.
No harm letting them know you are really coming, and this is a good opportunity to click the button and try it out.
Not an issue for F/J but a couple of trips in past (where the company only paid for Y) I found the queue for Qatar bag drop much shorter than normal check-in. It seems to me that Qatar has a high proportion of non-FF customers who are not so savvy to airports.

Well I’ve travelled in a Qsuite and I’m an outlier as I preferred the other set up. I realised I don’t like flying backwards.
