Received this one. Haven't read the fine print yet. Seems like an easy win

Wonder if this is off the back of the recent automobile survey from Velocity?

Not in the market yet, but have been considering something for next year... the test drive might actually be useful.

same here, would consider a tuscon but probably not for a year or two

You do know that you don't need to actually have any intention to buy!
Yeah, but taking a test drive and giving your details to a salesperson, contestantly getting calls etc may not be worth it just for the points

I'm pretty good at upsetting salespeople who upset me. Can make it seem like I have Tourettes very easily... if you get my drift.

Be careful...
Many years ago we stopped at a Nissan dealer, where they had a sausage sizzle, just to have a snack and ended up buying a car!

I actually did the test drive on Monday in a Tuscon,( I'm looking at buying a new car) very nice car to drive. But I want to try the other brands as well Nissan, Honda etc etc, when will I get my 5000 points is the real question.

I saw an add recently, if you test drive a Holden but buy something else they’ll pay you $500? You could double dip!

We’re doing ours next week. We are starting to *think* maybe it’s time for a new car, but realistically it’s probably a couple of years away.

Wasn’t going to bother with this but after remembering there is a Hyundai dealership down the road from work I will organise to book a test drive one lunch time.

Just booked my test drive. Seems like an easy 5000 points.

We test drove both cars this week, actually I quite liked the Tuscon- super comfy seats!
Just waiting for the call to discuss to get the points.

Took the Santa Fe for a spin yesterday lunch time. Super easy process with minimal selling from the salesperson. I had him come with me but he did initially offer me to go do it by myself so I could conceivably have simply driven the car somewhere else and completed a couple of quick errands or had lunch etc.

I note that in the FAQ section of the promo page it states “one test drive per person PER VEHICLE”. I may well have missed something elsewhere but I wonder if a further test drive this time in the Tucson would come with an additional 5,000pts?

Test drove the Tuscon today. Extremely underwhelmed for a 50K vehicle.

Ha! Shows how seriously I took my test drive- I didn't even ask the price!
Nor did I.

I simply thanked them for the the test drive opportunity, expressed my disappointment in keeping me waiting given I'd made a specific appointment for the test drive and left.
