Which maintenance group caused the lightening strike, the overseas or the Australian one !!

Now acts of nature are Qantas faults.

Which maintenance group caused the lightening strike, the overseas or the Australian one !!

Now acts of nature are Qantas faults.
Of course they are, silly. Qantas should have had up-to-the-minute weather forecasts of areas which would be prone to lightning strikes, and filed flight-plans which would have avoided these areas.

Of course then the flight would probably have tracked via both DRW and HBA, and then there would have been delays to the flight, and THAT would have generated another story, but we can't stop the meedja from presenting one-eyes stories now, can we?

There are ways to sort out most of the delays but they aren't palatable to the passengers or the airlines.
