I rediscovered a gift card with $450 left a couple of weeks after expiry. I was fortunate in that I contacted the WISH people and they extended the date a month.

Went out that week and swapped it for a $200 and a $250 card! Too close for comfort!

So how many switcheroos can be done. Presumably endless ?

Seems like almost a limitless option for earning points, or am I missing something here ?

You dont earn any Woolworths rewards points buying giftcards.
 
anyone else having problems with buying gc with egc?

agree. only affected me today. but only been to one place. the error message says something along the lines of this type of purchase is not allowed.
 
I tend to buy $4000 of face value gift cards at a time. I found one that I had misplaced with about 10 days to go so I used that one with Dans plus a rebate site.
 
after reading the recent comments, I went through my last 10 egiftcard emails and added them to the money app. Luckily there are no unused giftcards
 
Am down to about $1,000 of Coles 5% off gift cards now and I find Woolies offers have kept me going there.

I had an issue with my wish gift account which left me scratching my head.

I've purchased through Cashrewards and price pal.. However for some reason, both direct to the same sites but I had two separate accounts on the same email ...


Apparently that's how their system is set up

So I sent a list of all my transactions and asked them to check the balance of each one because the system ws confusing the hell out of me.

They said they'd be happy to but it would take 4 to 6 weeks.
Let's hope they don't pick up on any unused cards
 
Finding my wish gift purchases are annoyingly weird

Ordered 3 lots as I normally so for the same amount consecutively on friday

Two lots take 24hours.
3 rd lot still hadn't arrived yet
Made a $50 order on sat. Arrived Sunday

you doing more than 4 gift cards? I have found that if they need to put it on an excel file then it is slower.

I used to when I first started.
I've now improved my strategy to $423.8x5 per transaction :)

When I used to get those excel files I used to roll my eyes cos you can't load directly into the woolworths app
 
the excel file can be loaded directly 1 by 1 (at least on android).
open the excel file in google docs or similar then edit the hyperlink cell but change nothing and jump to another cell. this way the first cell will turn into a clickable link, once clicked will load into the woolies app.
rinse & repeat for the other links

I think it must be my browser.
It never worked for me so I had to cut and paste and email it to my self

I find preloading from the email to be easier.
A simple open and click process
