Double Points and DSC [Book by 8/9/17, fly by 6/9/18]

Mr FM received the email, I did not. Both on 0 SC with him gold and me LTG. Double points to London/Europe and dsc on any qantas operated flight (with QF no), domestic or international. We are planning to go to Kangaroo island in Feb, so it is tempting to book now, as dsc would bring Mr FM to LTG, but I am a bit unsure of dates. He will be LTG by September 2018 anyway, so probably no need to rush.

What i'm struggling to understand with the rules is that the double points is for LHR, Europe via Dubai or singapore
What is more ambiguous is whether the wording for DSC is for ALL QF flights rather than just the restricted ones above....

You don't need a DSC bonus and/or J sale fares to overcrowd lounges when pax in whY are offered lounge passes for purchase.

Americas, Asian, Domestic travel is not eligible.

I think you mean double points is restricted to the EK/QF routes to NZ and Europe (SIN/DXB/PER). Double SCs are more traditional - any QF operated and marketed flight.

With SWMBO's offer double POINTS is only for travel to/from UK/EUrope/New Zealand.

UK can be via Singapore, Perth or Dubai. For Europe travel must be via Dubai.

I've already retained WP and have booked enough to retain WP next year already. Would love a DSC offer so I could consider going for P1 but have received nothing

Double points is nice and better than nothing, but I want DSCs. If I don't get a late email I'll have to hope that there's another DSC offer that I am invited to use. Next year's possibly my one big opportunity to get P1 that may not come again, but I'd need a DSC offer to get a boost from travel I'd do anyway to able to justify doing a status run for the last few I need.

I didn't receive double SCs on a voucher purchased within the last period, so I wouldn't count on vouchers working. Was only 40SCs which in my current year means nothing so haven't bothered to chase.

Still, little to lose purchasing a voucher.
