Thanks.

Hi Guys,

Very rarely with partner carriers. They provide them to their own Airpoints FF members via recognition upgrades, OneUp, etc, and also since the Airpoints program uses a dollar system rather than points, effectively all flights have availability for Airpoints members.

Which program are you trying to use to book an award seat?

Air NZ is notoriously stingy with releasing business class award seats, but they do occasionally release some. I've seen J seats available on SYD-AKL, BNE-AKL, MEL-AKL and AKL-PVG.

Hi, I m trying to use UA points or Krisflyer points to book for Air NZ rewards flight. I did not see any business seat avaialble for Brisbane - AKLD, not in the next 12 months. There are quite a few for Sydney to AKLD though.

I can say as a Brisbane based traveller that Air NZ business class cabins are quite often packed out from BNE-AKL. R class availability is also quite quickly snapped up by RUs etc.
