In the table below and will find the additional bonus that you will receive depending on the amount of miles you purchase:

There's also an offer for an additional 10% off (so 145% total) if you register on some website first. OMAAT has the details.

NNNOOOO

Stop tempting me.

But I have signed up. At least that keeps the trigger finger off the credit card for another day :D

Can anyone give a rough guide as to what you can do with, say, 50/100K miles to put this into perspective?

just received this email

Dear Jeff:
Thank you for subscribing to our promotion available at Passageiro de Primeria. Now when you buy your miles up to September 15[SUP]th[/SUP], you will receive an additional 10% bonus.

Remember to buy miles from LM1.000 up to LM150.000, and the more you buy, you may receive a bonus up to 135%.

There is a fairly confusing additional promotion offering up to 50% off mostly intra-zone redemptions:
Take this opportunity to travel for fewer miles with Star Alliance. From September 8[SUP]th[/SUP] to October 15[SUP]th[/SUP] 2015 in Star Alliance airlines members and travel until October 2016, enjoy our promotional table with discounts up to 50%.
https://www.lifemiles.com/eng/tra/pro/promillredstaralltbl.aspx

It doesnt tell you what the discounts actually are -you need to go and compare them to the original award chart. From a few brief checks most discounts look more like 20% than 50%. Intra-zone awards are usually terrible value (for example, intra Europe in J is 54,000 return!) but there may be some value for some people, especially when paired with the 135+10% bonus.

I dont know why they have further split up the zones?

I know there is a very lengthy thread on LM but can someone kindly give an update on Singapore redemptions - Singapore Airlines I mean.

Is it still good availability ex Australia if book within 14 days out?

Thanks,
Dale.

I've been looking recently and its actually been looking extremely poor.
About a week or so ago I could not find anything at all in the following 14 day period. Nothing at all in J to MEL, not even for one pax. Didn't look ex-MEL.
