I have an NZ flight coming up, its in Works (Economy), and I got an email for Oneup to Business.
The complicated thing, is that I have a VA flight ADL to SYD first, in economy, and this one is not in Oneup.
But the SYD to AKL one is in the email.

I will do the wait, and see if I am successful in getting to business class. If so, I will come back and relate the points earnt on here.
I flew VA PER to SYD on SaverLite, and did the Upgrade me auction, got points in SaverLite level of Velocity SC earnt.

You will earn points on what fare class you originally purchased. In this case an economy ticket.
