Plus, earn up to 35,000 bonus miles when you buy American Airlines AAdvantage[SUP]®[/SUP] miles for yourself, or add up to 35,000 bonus miles to your purchase when you gift miles to a friend or loved one.

Given the tiered bonuses, you’ll actually achieve the lowest cent per mile cost if you purchase exactly 80,000 miles. In that instance you’d receive 30,000 bonus miles plus a 10% discount. That’s a total of 110,000 AAdvantage miles at a cost of $2,313.30, which is ~2.10 cents per mile.

An awful lot of phantom availability next year. Got very excited this morning when I saw all the LHR-SYD QF F awards available only to be unable to actually book any of them
