Hi
if i deposit say an extra $10K onto my credit card, which has a credit limit of $20k, i then have $30k available to spend, with $10k being my own money and 20k the banks.
I know that the first $10k spent on the card will be using my $, but will i earn reward points for this $10k?
Card used is the qantas platinum card.
Thanks

Bank branded creit cards can be put into credit so that you can pay a bill in excess of your credit limit even if it runs two cards like a NAB Visa and a NAB Amex. Now if you have a directly branded Amex card you cannot do this as they can suspend your card while they refund you the over payment.
Yes you will earn points on all of your purchases regardless of your account being in credit (but not on cash advances).
