Noticable that Westpac is not included in the listed banks...again? and also NAB...?

Fanbloodytastic, I was about to book an award seat for next summer just tonight. Glad it dragged on :D

Funny how they were advertising points transfers with no bonus last month ;)

At least CitiBank is on this one, unlike the last ?two?

Thanks for the heads up, I've been waiting for this too - and hallelujah, CBA is participating this time.

Just booked a reward flight 2 days ago ! damn.

Happy with the bonus points though, have been waiting for that to come around for awhile now so have plenty of points to transfer :)

Moved 180,000 points last month, and then things changed and I ended up not needing to fly! Sucks for me :(

Is this a good promotion for Velocity?

How often do they do 20%, 25% or 30%?

Cheers

Leyy, I think that's variable, and I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I wouldn't expect anything too much better than this this year... I've got quite a few stored Pestwac, Cit1 and Aimex points squirreled away (somewhere south of half a million), and the temptation is to push them all at once into my VA account. Was kind of thinking of Krisflyer, Avios etc, but with the bonus on redemptions, and ability to push to Krisflyer at a later date (albeit at a reduced ratio) I should probably just bite the bullet.

I've only ever seen 15% and 20%. Of late I think they've all been 15% with the exception of bank specific offers. I'm definitely taking advantage of the 15% bonus points!

Thanks for letting me know :)

Im new to VFF.

I have circa 700k Citibank points so need to work out if I should push all or some to VFF.

Decisions, decisions whethere to put them through KFF or VA.

This promotion kind of pushes the balance to VFF.

Last time this was on offer I transferred and got a J BNE-LAX return for 177000 points and no additional cash.

Depending on who you would prefer to fly with long haul , SQ or EY or is probably the question you need to answer, both are in the top few in my opinion.

SQ uses fewer points but more cash, VA uses more points but little cash. Value not that much different. With VA very easy to keep points from not expiring

Sorry to digress, but have they put up the taxes on SQ redemption on VA (to match KrisFlyer)without any notice? I swear there was no fuel surcharge component days ago!

I noticed the same, flight I was looking at on Velocity SQ redemption had $97 in surcharge/tax now $450!

VA website is often wrong. It has been mentioned before, various examples of incorrect taxes etc and is often hard to know what is the right amount.

Take for example a OW LAX-SYD on the website shows $400-$500 USD taxes but when you select the flight and continue you don't get charged anywhere near that. I actually paid $42.12 AUD + 94000 points

Having said that, itinerary that include SQ do attract the surcharge etc etc

There's definitely a change that has been made here unfortunately. A week ago I booked SYD-BKK on SQ and paid:

Just looked up the exact same dates and flights and on the payment page you get:
